Simple Change For The New Year #1

New Paradigm Ahead

Your life is one big habit you are not aware of.

You have over 60,000 thoughts a day.

Ninety percent of those thoughts are the same as you had the day before, and the day before and the day before.

Consider that you have the same routine when you get up in the morning, the same routine getting ready to go to a job you probably don’t like. The same routine at the job you now know you definitely don’t like. The same routine in the evening and the same routine before you go to bed.

Then you wake up the next day to do it all over again.

Just think back at how long have you been repeating this life style you don’t like. Or the even bigger question is…

How long are you going to keep repeating it?

As Dr. Joe Dispenza put it…

You are repeating the same thoughts, the same choices, the same actions and behaviors, the same experiences and the same feelings. These are all keeping you in the same reality. Your yesterday becomes your tomorrow so in truth, your past is your future.

This causes your biology to stay the same. Your brain and body don’t change because you are creating the same brain chemistry which activates the same brain circuits keeping you in a reality you do not want to be in. You have literally created a neural network that is working automatically, without you knowing it, to keep you in this unwanted reality.

I can relate. I was stuck in the same routine. I was living the same life every day over and over again. And it was not fun. I wanted to change. But every time I saw something that might help I would avoid it or reason I would do it later. A strong feeling would well up inside of me and keep me from doing the thing I knew I needed to do. I knew I needed to do it. I even wanted to do it. But I just couldn’t make myself do it.

What was actually happening is change can cause your body to go into a state of chemical imbalance. This can actually be very uncomfortable. By going back to my original routine I was putting my body back into balance and back into comfort. I was unable to handle the temporary discomfort for the long term benefit. I was trapped.

Or at least I thought I was until I learned that there are some very simple things that you can do to un-trap yourself. Everyone holds the key. Most just don’t know it or don’t believe the key will work.

You must observe and pay attention to those emotions that you’ve memorized and that you live by on a daily basis and decide if living by those emotions over and over again is loving to you. Most people try to create a new personal reality as the same old personality and it doesn’t work. In order to change your life, you have to literally become someone else. – Dr. Dispenza

SIMPLE CHANGE: Think one thing that you usually do the same every day and today do it differently.  Or don’t do it at all.  Consider how much of your past life you can barely remember.  Try to revive an old memory.  Try and think of something you have forgotten about.
